Vibrant Health Initiatives

Coupled with our strategic focus areas, we work alongside our community partners and grantees through the following initiatives:

Leadership Network

A two-year leadership development program and unrestricted grant ($25,000-$65,000 annually) aimed at investing in and strengthening individual and organizational leadership. Includes four local summits, an advocacy trip to Sacramento and a leadership retreat annually.

Meet the 2025-2026 Champions

Capacity Building Programs

Offered twice a year, IEHP Foundation invests in capacity training for nonprofit organizations in San Bernardino and Riverside counties to strengthen skills to ultimately expand their reach and services. Each participating organization to receive a $5,000 grant following program completion.

A quarterly workshop series for local community leaders focused on various health and policy issues designed to deliver health education, build organizational effectiveness, encourage collective advocacy and foster collaboration.

Vibrant Villages

Vibrant Villages - San Bernardino County

A collective impact strategy focused on improving health equity and health outcomes in San Bernardino County. Centered on the high-need and high-potential communities of Barstow and San Bernardino. Each project will include steering committees of local stakeholders to help shape priorities and strategies.

Blue Zones

In partnership with Blue Zones Project, designed to make measurable, lasting community changes that improve health outcomes for years to come. Five select communities in Riverside County, including Banning, Coachella, Palm Springs, Riverside and unincorporated Mead Valley. Additionally, goals related to healthcare quality measures to be established for entire project duration.
